- Focus on editing for consistency, grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation
- Touch-base call after edits are made to go over editorial letter & next steps
Rate: $0.05/word
Developmental editing for one fiction or creative nonfiction manuscript.
30K word minimum
Includes:
- Initial video call to discuss project expectations, goals, and questions
- Line-by-line comments with a focus on further developing your story
- More focused suggestions for rewrites on a line-by-line level (i.e., narration and pacing, point of view, etc.)
- Touch-base call after edits are made to go over editorial letter & next steps
Rate: $0.03/word
Proofreading a blog, short essay or article, or a fiction or nonfiction manuscript.
500 word minimum
Includes:
- Initial video call to discuss project expectations, goals, and questions
- Quality check of a finished piece of writing to correct errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and consistency
- Polished error-free final work emailed or posted on desired platform
