What are your rates?

How do you decide your rates?

I used the Editorial Rates page available on the Editorial Freelancers Association website to determine a base average for my editing services to keep the prices fair as well as competitive. I am happy to discuss pricing further if what you see on my Services page doesn’t fit your budget or you want to discuss bundling services for a larger project.

When do you expect to be paid during the project?

Once we have agreed upon the expectations and the scope of the project, I require a 50% nonrefundable deposit to get the editing services started. The remaining 50% is due once I have completed the editing services and we have met for the final touch-base conversation.
